Aftermath: The Griffith Park Fire 05/07
7pm @ drkrm Gallery
2121 San Fernando Road, Suite 3
While the Griffith Park fires that burned nearly 800 acres of the Nation’s largest urban wilderness in May of 2007 will not soon be forgotten, only photographer Colin Brown was able to experience the tragedy first-hand and capture its aftermath in an exhibition that will both fascinate and sadden. His shocking collection is often grotesque but truthful and certainly unique. For more info, visit http://www.drkrm.com/

Feeling Wicked?
Haven’t seen “Wicked” yet? Then it’s time to get down to the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. It’s a fantastic show (that lives up to all the hype) with rich performances by leading ladies, Megan Hilty and Caissie Levy. Simply put, “Wicked” is the untold story of the witches of OZ. A prequel if you will to “The Wizard of Oz”.

There are still great seats available this month and if you feel that ticket prices are a bit steep, then head to the theatre a bit early for the $25 ticket lottery - a day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of front orchestra seats is held 2 1⁄2 hours prior to every performance. You can also show a valid Metro Pass or Metro Rail ticket at the Pantages box office for a 20% discount.
The show runs Tuesday through Sunday at the Pantages Theatre. Tickets are on sale now through July. www.wickedthemusical.com
