This month, my mom is turning the magical 65. I’m sure she wouldn’t be to happy to know that I am letting the world know, but I don’t think she and most of her friends in Boynton Bay, FL will read all about it. I just came back from Costa Rica yesterday where I met up with my best friend, Lisa, her two daughters, husband, and the rest of her tribe. I have known her well over 32 years and yes I am skirting around my age, but I am the one writing this! She is my family almost as much as my mother is. Nuclear families can be made up of blood, spirit or the soul. There are soul-mates, so how about soul-families? They nourish, provide shelter, and support you through good times as well as the most gut wrenching moments in life where you don’t even realize you have the sustenance to survive such hard times. This month, be grateful for your soul-family and know that you put them there.
