Well, just what you’d expect: another groundbreaking video from Bjork involving animation, surreal landscapes, and creepy doppelgangers. It’s pointless to describe it here, check it out for yourself and wonder in breathless aghast. If I’m not mistaken, you can buy it on DVD with 3-D glasses and I’m not sure if my tiny little brain could handle such a thing.
Smoking Weed
Ah, nothing like some good old fashioned low brow humor. This little short follows around a signature weed chap who, as he puts it, “Smokes weed all day,” on his daily journeys as he applies for a job, babysits a kid, runs marathons, and picks up hot girls at a bar. I know at this point it seems like all the weed jokes have been done, but this sucker seems fresh on the funnybone like a dimebag of the happy creeper. Watch it once and tell me you’re not quoting it or even just going back to giggle at his line deliveries.
Lionel Richie on Helium
Yeah, why not. Here ole Lionel lets loose “Hello” on a German talk show while tugging on a helium balloon. Come on, it’s cheap, but I dare you not to get the jollies experiencing this weird awkwardness.
Kids in the Hall – Never Before Scene Sketch (Carfuckers)
This might not be a candidate for one the best The Kids in the Hall sketches, but it does make me feel that weird excited joy that I used to feel when I would settle down for a Kids in The Hall episode. They’re back on the road again and have released a plethora of new videos, namely the “Let’s Fuck Kevin in the Ass” gem, but they look old and weird now. I’d rather remember the glory days even though I still love them.
